Hi Corey! Thanks for this and I’m so glad it resonated. If you’re keen to get more involved with the bigger movement, we have been working on a REENVISIONED Classroom Project for a few years. It is a student-centered project that facilitates student meaning-making around big life questions. Students interview each other and adults in their lives about what makes a good life, what the role of school is in helping create those lives, and how well their school achieves these goals. They learn to interview, to listen closely, to analyze qualitative data, and to think about how to bring together different perspectives. And, they get to share their work with the world as part of a bigger movement to catalyze empathy and perspective taking — and emerge a new shared national vision for schooling. In this folder, you will find everything you need to bring a full REENVISIONED classroom visioning project to life (we are still pre-design phase :) ). Write us at hello@reenvisioned.org if you’d like to partner!
